Campsites and Facilities

Bush camping available along the route. Dwellingup — full town services: Dwellingup Hotel, cafés, supermarket, accommodation, bike-friendly services.

Getting there

Start: Jarrahdale — basic services, easy access from Perth. Finish: Dwellingup — full town services including Dwellingup Hotel. Shuttle coordination recommended for one-way trips — both towns accessible from Perth.

Who is this section for?

Riders continuing the full Munda Biddi southbound journey from Mundaring. Those wanting a shorter standalone section close to Perth. Riders who prefer southbound direction — this section is notably easier ridden south to north. Wide-tyre riders — pea gravel and soft surfaces favour fatter tyres throughout.

Practical tips

This section is significantly easier ridden southbound — the Serpentine River crossing climb northbound is one of the tougher moments on the northern trail. Wide tyres make a real difference on the pea gravel and soft sand throughout. Stock up in Jarrahdale before departure — limited facilities between towns. Dwellingup Hotel is one of the best-loved stops on the entire trail — plan to arrive with time to enjoy it. Summer riding makes soft surfaces considerably harder — May to October strongly recommended.
