The Munda Biddi Trail winds through dozens of charming WA towns — each with its own character. Here are our favourite stops where you can rest, refuel, and soak in the vibe.

Jarrahdale — First Stop on the Journey

Located around 100 km from the trail’s northern starting point, Jarrahdale is a historic timber town surrounded by jarrah forests. It’s a great first overnight stop, with a welcoming pub, a general store for basic supplies, and a café or two for your morning coffee. The trail here is still gentle and scenic, giving you a taste of what’s to come.

Dwellingup — A Mountain Biker’s Haven

Dwellingup is a true cycling hub, known for its MTB trails and friendly vibe. Here you’ll find a bike shop for any repairs, plenty of food options, and accommodation ranging from campgrounds to cosy cabins. It’s one of the few places on the trail where cyclists often meet and swap stories before heading into the more remote sections.

Nannup — Quaint & Relaxed

Halfway along the trail, Nannup is quiet, picturesque, and full of character. This riverside town is perfect for a slower pace — with cute bakeries, craft shops, and a few good spots to stay the night. The surrounding scenery here is gorgeous, making it one of the most memorable stops.

Northcliffe — Gateway to the South

This tiny town is one of the last real pit stops before heading into the deep southern karri forests. Northcliffe has a small general store, a couple of accommodation options, and a helpful visitor centre. Many riders use this stop to stock up on supplies before tackling the remote stretch to Walpole.

Denmark & Albany — The Grand Finish

At the southern end of the trail lie two beautiful coastal towns. Denmark is famous for its beaches, vineyards, and laid-back vibe — perfect for a well-earned rest. Albany, the trail’s official end, offers more restaurants, shops, and a sense of accomplishment as you roll in and see the ocean. Both towns are great spots to celebrate completing the trail.
